The Magic of Newfane Vermont…
Once called Fane, Newfane Vermont has been around since before the 1800’s. Originally settled atop a hill, ultimately the town was moved into the valley. Known as Fayetteville until 1882, when it finally settled on a derivation of its original name – New Fane (Newfane), the town now offers modern hotels, eateries, antique shops, and even massage. But, amongst your travels, don’t miss out the Historical Society guided walk through this French-and-Indian-War-era town.
