Join two of Vermont’s finest ukulele players for an evening dedicated to the joys of playing and listening to the friendly little stringed instrument. Led by seasoned musicians Ben Carr and Jake Geppert, the evening will feature a beginners’ workshop, a performance and an open jam session. All are welcome to participate! Have a uke? Bring it! Interested in trying but empty-handed? We’ll have some on loan to share.
Adults: $10. Kids and seniors: $5. Pay at the door.

Jake Geppert has been performing all kinds of music for 30 years, with his most popular local bluegrass band, the Bondville Boys, along with his newer duet with Gary Wade, The Unified String Theory, in Southern Vermont and New York. Over the years he has also played in several bands such as, the Goat Jumpers, Crazy Maggie, and Beyond Further. Jake lives in Weston, Vt. and teaches music lessons at Burr & Burton and privately.
