I am wholly committed to your wellbeing.
When you explore the topography of your soul you will find that everything you need is already within you. I will encourage and teach you the techniques needed to create and maintain a steady personal practice. These classes are much more than simply learning exercises; they’re about cultivating a healthier lifestyle and creating intentions you can take with you when you step off of your mat. Discover tools and develop habits that will improve your health, thought patterns and quality of living.
Lean in to your wisdom. Surprise yourself. Be well.
I’ve been serving the Southern Vermont community since 2013; sharing the belief that life should be lived with joy, gratitude, and a dedication to being present in the moment. These feelings inform and guide my teachings, which are rooted in helping my clients better connect to themselves, their communities, and to the rest of the world. We’re all in this together. I currently teach weekly classes at Heart of the Village Yoga Studio in Manchester (located across from Equinox Hotel) and am available for private consultations and small group instruction.
After a spontaneous leap of faith, I found myself transforming along an unanticipated life changing, soul stretching journey. I completed my 200 hour teaching certification with Jennilee Toner in 2013 and have been teaching around Southern Vermont ever since then. In 2014 I started a sweet little jewelry company that has allowed me to share my love of yoga, mindfulness and connection in a creative new way.
Breaking free from the mindset of the perfect looking posture, I remind my students that all bodies, bones and minds are not built the same way and that yoga is a deeply personal practice. I celebrate the beauty of our individualities by creating vinyasa flows that encourage safe, self-expansive movement. My focus is on tuning students into the sensations of their bodies with an emphasis on realizing, embracing and working with limitations. Since the birth of my daughter in 2014, yoga has taken on new meaning while I navigate the wonderfully bumpy terrain of motherhood. I am currently enrolled in an advanced teacher training program under the guidance of Jo Kirsch, Bob Speck and Laurae Coburn at Heart of the Village Yoga Studio in Manchester, VT.
When not on my mat, experimenting with essential oil blends or om-making jewelry, I enjoy spending time with the love of my life, our sweet and spirited daughter, Maisey Emerson, and our two dogs, Lolli & Jack as we enjoy the Green Mountains and fix up our first little home in Manchester, VT.
