Dorset Field Club – Oldest Golf Club in America
Established in 1886, Dorset Field Club is the oldest continuously operating golf club in America. It all started with 9 holes in a cow field nine-hole golf.  The clubhouse was built in 1896 and named “Woodruff Hall” in honor of one of the founders, and the course and clubhouse  are  featured at the USGA Museum in Far Hills New Jersey.

In 1999, the course was upgraded to 18 holes, elevating it to Championship level standards, and the facilities offer a top-notch Pro Shop, USGA lessons, and weekly golf clinics.  Outstanding food and beverages are offered from local award-winning chef, Henry Bronson, and there’s even tennis, if you like. However, this club is private, so call for info about how you can play today.
