Hamilton Falls Natural Area features Cobb Brook as it cascades 125 feet down a mountain slope, through a pine-hemlock woodland and into a swimming hole at the bottom. There are several falls, the most spectacular of which drops 40 to 50 feet into a large pool. Be careful though as deaths have occurred here due to steep and slippery rocks.
A popular swimming and picnicking area is located within the natural area that spans 51 acres. A hiking trail is also available and provides access to the top and bottom of the falls as well as connecting to the West River Trail within Jamaica State Park. Called one of the prettiest waterfalls in Vermont, come observe the natural beauty today.
